Dan Webb Named One of The National Law Journal’s “Litigation Trailblazers & Pioneers”
December 22, 2014
Winston & Strawn’s Dan Webb, who serves as the firm’s chairman, was named a “Litigation Trailblazer & Pioneer” by The National Law Journal. In its inaugural list, the publication recognized 50 individuals who have changed the practice of litigation through the use of innovative legal strategies.
“The ‘Litigation Trailblazers & Pioneers’ list recognizes those professionals who have acted as real agents of change in their field, elevating – and in some cases, redefining – the ways in which litigation is pursued, cases are defended or trials are handled,” said Tom Larranaga, publisher of The National Law Journal. “They have raised the bar in several meaningful ways and are establishing important new standards as the legal landscape continues to evolve.”
Mr. Webb has tried more than 100 jury cases, including numerous successful complex commercial and white-collar criminal trials, representing, on several occasions, large corporations in jury trials lasting two months or longer. His trial practice concentrates in the areas of major commercial, civil, regulatory, and white-collar criminal cases. He was also named as one of The National Law Journal’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance Trailblazers and Pioneers for 2014.
