Stanford Goldblatt is of counsel in the firm’s corporate department and has served as head of its private equity practice.
Mr. Goldblatt concentrates in leveraged equity investments and private equity capital fund transactions, as well as other private corporate transactional matters. Representative clients include MacLean-Fogg Company, Rasmussen, Inc., Salt Creek Ventures, LLC, Mason Avenue Investments, Frontenac Company, M3 Capital Partners LLC, and Sigma International Group, Inc.
Activities
Mr. Goldblatt is active in numerous professional and civic activities. He is a trustee emeritus of The University of Chicago (former vice chairman) and a trustee of The University of Chicago Medical Center (founding chairman); a trustee of the Cancer Research Foundation; and a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago. In addition, Mr. Goldblatt is a member of the board of directors of MacLean-Fogg Company, MacLean Lismore Isle, GmbH, MacLean Power Systems, L.L.C., Rasmussen, Inc., and Sigma International Group, Inc.
Education
Mr. Goldblatt received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Harvard College in 1960 and an LL.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 1963.
