Paul Whitworth is a litigation associate in the New York office whose practice is focused on complex commercial litigation and arbitration. Most recently he assisted in a series of arbitral hearings in a multi-billion dollar arbitration, which involved drafting briefs and factual reports, preparing witnesses, lead counsel, and experts for hearings, working closely with co-counsel, and working hands-on in all stages of an intensive discovery process. He has also worked in various other areas of commercial litigation including assisting in a successful action for breach of contract and fraudulent inducement, and a real estate dispute. His current and past pro bono work includes a 7th Circuit appeal, providing immigration assistance to a victim of domestic abuse, and deposing the plaintiff in a suit against the City of New York.
Education
Mr. Whitworth received a B.A. in Music, summa cum laude, in 1988 from the University of Edinburgh, a M.A. in Music in 1990 from King’s College London, and a Ph.D. in Theory and Analysis of Music in 2002 from Cornell University. He received his J.D. in 2008 from Boston College Law School, where he was note editor of the Boston College Law Review.
