Sara Skinner Chubb is a Chicago associate in the advertising, marketing, and privacy law group. She practices primarily in marketing/promotion, advertising, trademark, copyright, privacy, and other intellectual property matters.
Ms. Chubb regularly advises clients regarding marketing/promotions, including sweepstakes, contests, sponsorship agreements, advertising clearance/claim substantiation, social media, and user-generated content. She advises clients on privacy matters, including behavioral advertising, drafting privacy policies, reviewing websites and mobile apps for privacy law compliance issues, and preparing website and application terms and end user license agreements. She also assists brands with trademark portfolio management and UDRP proceedings.
Education
Ms. Chubb received a B.S. in Business (Marketing), summa cum laude, in 2007 from Miami University. She received a J.D., cum laude, in 2009 from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was an associate editor for the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review.
