Elizabeth Kwon is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office who focuses on corporate and finance transactions. Ms. Kwon has represented public and privately held companies in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, public offerings and private placements of securities, and public and private securitizations of automobile loans and leases. She also represents companies in connection with SEC reporting and compliance and corporate governance matters.
Prior to working at major law firms, Ms. Kwon was an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and an asset backed securities analyst at LaSalle Bank Corporation.
Education
Ms. Kwon received a B.A. in Economics and American Studies from Yale University in 2000 and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 2008, where she was managing editor of the UCLA Law Review. She also received her M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2008, where she was an Anderson Fellowship Scholar and a member of the Honor Society.
