Tony Chow is an associate in the firm’s Hong Kong office and focuses his practice on litigation and general corporate matters.
Mr. Chow’s recent matters include:
- Acting for key corporate defendants in the defense of their title and ownership in substantial assets in Hong Kong in excess of HK$2 billion and in relation to three sets of proceedings instituted by an overseas corporation currently pending before the Commercial List of the High Court of Hong Kong.
- Acting for an international network of accounting firms in the defense of securities fraud claims exceeding US$75 million pending before the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.
- Advising a conglomerate of investment funds and companies in an investigation of the Securities & Futures Commission in Hong Kong.
- Acting for an individual in probate and provision proceedings pending before the Hong Kong court.
- Acting for a listed Taiwanese corporation in the recovery of substantial sums under a commercial contract.
Education
Mr. Chow received a B.A. in Law in 2008 from the University of Oxford where he was a Lee Shau Kee Scholar and an LL.M. in 2012 from Columbia Law School as an International Fellow.
