Costanza Russo is a partner in the firm’s London office. She focuses her practice in cross-border project and infrastructure finance with an emphasis on transport infrastructure and renewables, general financing, corporate lending, and real estate financing. She also has significant experience in derivatives and capital markets with a focus on the Italian market.
Ms. Russo has more than 10 years of experience assisting International Financial Institutions (IFIs), commercial banks, governments, corporations, and sponsors in the financing and refinancing of major projects, mainly in Eastern Europe. In addition, she regularly assists Italian clients in their international financings, as well as international banks and corporations investing in the Italian market.

Representation of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Transport on the refinancing of the Zagreb-Macelj Motorway Project.
Representation of the Government of the Republic of Croatia in connection with the project financing of Phase 2B of the Istrian Motorway Project and the refinancing of the existing debt.
Representation of Trakia Motorway in relation to the concession agreement relating to the Trakia Motorway Project in Bulgaria.
Representation of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg in respect of the financing of a solar power project in Cornwall, England.

Ms. Russo was named “Assistant Solicitor of the Year” by The Lawyer Magazine in 2008.
Education
Ms. Russo received her LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1998. She completed her Common Professional Examination in 1999 and her Legal Practice Course in 2000 from The College of Law, London.
Ms. Russo earned a degree in law in 1993 from the University of Cagliari, Italy and completed a post degree course in International Diplomacy in 1995 from LUISS, Rome, Italy. She also completed a post degree course in International Business Law from LUISS School of Management, Rome, Italy in 1996.
