LA Softball Team Achieves Dynasty Status

On August 9, the Los Angeles office softball team took to the field for the Landau Lawyer’s League championship game against Wood Smith, a team Winston had beaten twice in the regular season. A record-breaking 14 players (Winston and non-Winston) showed up for the firm and exhibited a superb combination of offense and defense.

The Winston team scored a handful of runs in the first inning, racking up a 10-0 lead by the end of the third. The opposing pitcher walked only one Winston player the entire game, providing plenty of opportunity for Winston to hit.  Winston finished with a final score of 16 to 6.

The team was crowned champions of the co-ed Landau Lawyer’s Softball 2015 Summer League, Los Angeles Division for the third time in five seasons, securing dynasty status.
