Embracing the “Supporting Our Communities” and “Education” pillars of Winston for Good, our London office hosted two 17-year-old students during the week of October 21-25 as part of our partnership with Access Aspiration. This organization aims to increase social mobility by providing access to employability training and aspirational work placements, delivers charitable activity on behalf of Mayor’s Fund for London.
This was the second time this year that we have hosted students for a week of work experience at Winston. More than 75 students responded to our placement request, and Huzaifa and Victoria were the lucky two who were chosen this time around.
Both students have an interest in one day working in the legal field and showed great interest in the work at Winston. On their last day with us, the students gave a presentation on what they had learned in the week and how they enjoyed their time.
Many firm members in the London office spent time working with Victoria and Huzaifa, providing them with insights into what life is like working in a corporate environment and enabling them to participate in various projects.
