A Conversation with David Yarrow: Wildlife, Fine Art, and More
June 3, 2020
a conversation with David Yarrow, a world-renowned wildlife and fine art photographer.
David discusses highlights from his exciting career, the photographic process, conservation efforts, and the impact of COVID-19.
Philanthropy and conservation are two of David’s key passions and over the last two years, his work has raised over $4.4 million towards conservation. At the start of 2020, David was in Australia documenting the devastating bush fires that have destroyed communities, wildlife, and wildlands. Using the striking and poignant images that he captured, David launched the #KoalaComeback Campaign to raise $2 million to support recovery efforts in Australia. David has immediately followed this with raising over $1 million to support the National Health Service in the UK during the ongoing crisis alongside charity HEROES and Art for Heroes.
Book Success:
David’s 2019 book achieved best seller status on Amazon UK and reached #1 in two categories: #1 Surrealist Literacy Criticism and #1 Individual Photographer Monographs.
