Chair-Elect Steve D’Amore Discusses Firm Growth with The American Lawyer

Winston & Strawn Chair-Elect Steve D’Amore was quoted in an article by The American Lawyer reporting on the 2023 growth and performance of law firms with roots in Chicago. Last year, Winston saw increases in revenue and profits, and remained among a select group of large Chicago-based firms to gross at least a billion dollars. 

In discussing future growth markets for the firm, Steve pointed to offices in Texas and New York in addition to Chicago, where the firm was founded.

“We consider the markets we are [already] in as being high-value markets for us, so we are always considering opportunities in each of those markets,” he said, before adding, “I live in Chicago. It’s my home. So we’ll never lose sight of Chicago.”
