Creating Pathways to Diversity® Presents: Hearing and Seeing Isn’t Enough – Performative Allyship Vs. Real Advocacy
October 12, 2021
On October 12, Winston & Strawn Partner Amandeep Sidhu spoke on a panel titled “Hearing and Seeing Isn’t Enough: Performative Allyship Vs. Real Advocacy” at the virtual MCCA Creating Pathways to Diversity® Conference.
During the discussion, panelists talked about what it means to be an effective ally and how people can best graduate from words to actions when addressing systemic racism and inequities in our workplace and communities.
Winston & Strawn was a sponsor of the MCCA’s Diversity Gala which coincided with the conference. The event featured a networking reception and an awards program honoring individuals, corporate legal departments, and law firms championing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
