Greg McConnell Discusses Winston’s Pro Bono Priorities with Law360

Greg McConnell—Winston & Strawn’s senior pro bono counsel—recently spoke with Law360 about how the firm balances its pro bono priorities in a piece called “Where Firms Are Investing Their Pro Bono Resources.”

As noted in Law360, the events of the past two years resulted in an inundation of pro bono work. The industry’s focus shifted rapidly from the surge of unmet legal needs caused by the pandemic to social justice causes, from police misconduct to voting rights to gender equality.

“It's about balancing the shiny issue du jour versus maintaining our fundamental core of stepping into an access-to-justice environment where you know the needs of pro bono lawyers are constant,” said Greg.
