March 25, 2020
T. Reed Stephens and Amandeep Sidhu’s move to the firm was featured in The National Law Journal. Chair of our health care and life sciences group discussed the firm’s hiring strategy and what the new partners will contribute to the health care and life sciences offerings for clients of the firm.
The new partners were chosen specifically to grow the firm’s investigative, regulatory and litigation abilities in the life sciences and health care industries, which is particularly important now given the current health care crisis that is impacting all industries globally. We are a robust global health care practice, and this acquisition is evidence of that. We’re continuing to grow the health care team [for Winston & Strawn] to be a preeminent health care firm in the nation.
Each attorney brings their own set of unique health care and life sciences experience. Reed is a former trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, where he worked with life sciences companies, health systems and non-health care global organizations on issues regarding the federal False Claims Act and corporate compliance matters. Aman’s practice focuses on health care systems, specialized physician practice groups, pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturers and other non-health care clients in various high-stakes disputes, including government investigations, qui tam whistleblower litigation and other compliance issues.
This wide array of expertise will be beneficial to clients outside of health care sectors as well.
Every single industry has been touched by this health care crisis that’s impacting every piece of the economy. That’s why the new partners joining this week are a great testament to the work we do for our clients.
