Three Winston & Strawn Associates Selected for Elite Diversity Leadership Training Program
March 3, 2020
Winston & Strawn is a long-time member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and sponsors the participation of our attorneys in its Fellows and Pathfinders programs each year.
Winston Partners Kobi Kennedy Brinson, Taj Clayton, Steve Flores, Francisco Flores, and Tim Kincaid and Associates Sofia Arguello and Dan Hoang are all Fellows program alums. Arguello, a member of the most recent class, noted that the mix of in-house and outside counsel makes it particularly good for building your network. “I thought it was an excellent program,” she said, and will enable me to form lasting and valuable relationships with others in my peer group.
Our 2020 LCLD Pathfinders participants are Associates Nasir Hussain and Ade Johnson. This program, which will begin in early May, trains early-career attorneys in leadership, network building, and other career development strategies.
Other Winston attorneys who have participated in the Pathfinders program are Associates Ariane Andrade, Tim Hughes, Masae Ellis, and Sean Suber. Hughes, who was a 2019 Pathfinder, said “the relationships I gained and the training I received were very beneficial, especially as a mid-level transitioning into a senior associate role. A good number of the LCLD Pathfinders are in-house attorneys, which is great from a business development perspective as well.”
LCLD is made up of more than 320 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners, working to build a more open and diverse legal profession.
