Matthew is a litigation associate in Winston’s Dallas office.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew received his Ph.D. in philosophy and was an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. He draws on his extensive writing and research experience in his practice.

Education
Matthew received his J.D., with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2023, where he was an associate editor for the Texas Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. He was also a Teaching Quizmaster, received Dean’s Achievement Awards in Conflict of Laws and Legal Analysis and Communication, and won the Outstanding First-Year Memo Award. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Toronto in 2019. Before that, he received his B.A. in philosophy and English literature from Texas A&M University in 2013.
