Janelle focuses her practice on corporate representation of domestic and international businesses, including banks, FinTechs, and financial services companies, in connection with regulatory and compliance issues, structured finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional matters.
Janelle advises domestic and international banks in connection with regulatory and compliance matters. She represents money transmitters, broker-dealers, investment advisors, private equity funds, mortgage lenders, and other financial institutions with registration and licensure requirements under state and federal law. Janelle also advises financial institutions, FinTechs, and other businesses regarding regulatory, licensing, corporate, and compliance issues in the FinTech and blockchain technology space.
Janelle commonly counsels banks, other financial institutions, and borrowers alike with the negotiation and closing of commercial loans and sophisticated financing transactions.
