2015 Winston & Strawn Diversity Scholarship Recipients

We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2015 Winston & Strawn Diversity Scholarship: Kathleen Kim of Columbia Law School, Brian Li-A-Ping of UCLA School of Law, and Matthew Wissa of The University of Chicago Law School. All three students will be in our 2015 summer program. Kathleen will be in our New York office, Brian in our Los Angeles office, and Matthew in our Chicago office. Congratulations to all three! They will each receive $10,000 to apply towards their third year of law school.

Winston inaugurated the Diversity Scholarship program in 2004 to demonstrate our commitment to diversity and celebrate our 150^th anniversary. In the ten years of the program, we have provided nearly half a million dollars to over 30 diverse law school students to assist them with their law school expenses. Applications are reviewed by the hiring committee chairperson and the diversity committee chairperson. Past recipients include Mark Chen, Michelle Munoz, Jennifer Miller, Chris Wilson, Vicky Hsia, Randi Rader, Sabreena El-Amin, and Lauren Bowman.
