Dallas Office Launches Attorney Mentoring Program

September 29, 2017
Winston’s Dallas office, which opened in February 2017, officially launched its attorney mentoring program with a kickoff event on September 25. All associates and practice attorneys in the office were paired with a partner mentor.
Dallas Mentoring Partner Christina Tate welcomed the three dozen mentees and mentors in attendance and provided them with an overview of program benefits, expectations, and tips for success. Dallas Managing Partner Bryan Goolsby provided several office updates following the mentoring discussion.
Winston established its formal mentoring program in service of two goals: 1) to create connections and facilitate information sharing between experienced and more junior attorneys; and 2) to ensure that associates and practice attorneys have access to a more senior attorney’s advice and guidance as they chart their path to success at the firm.
The Dallas office will hold a “Mentor of the Year” event at the conclusion of the annual program, which will recognize mentors who have gone above and beyond to help enhance a young attorney’s career development, integration, and experience.
