Mock Interview Panel a Big Hit with SMU 1Ls

Winston was invited to present on “Launching Your Career – Legal Interviewing” at SMU Dedman School of Law during a Career Foundations & Professional Development program held on January 9. All current 1L students at SMU attended this session as part of the law school’s day-long Professional Summit 2019.

Corporate Partner Todd Thorson and Litigation Associate Michael Fechner discussed the importance of interviewing and ran through two mock interviews. The students were highly attentive and engaged with our attorneys, asking great questions about best practices for interviewing with legal employers.

Dallas Associates and SMU alums Patrick Luthen and Lauren Lieberman and Dallas Associate Andrea Scheder enjoyed interacting with Dedman’s 1Ls again on January 10 at “Meet the Firms Night,” where the students were buzzing about the popularity of our mock interview program the day before.
