“Operation Sandwich” Comes Roaring Back and Raises $6,000+ to Help End Homelessness

It’s been two long years since Covid-19 precluded Winston’s Charlotte office from participating in “Operation Sandwich”—a monthly sandwich-making event for homeless individuals served by A Roof Above—and the Charlotte office certainly made up for lost time!

Spurred to action by Office Managing Partner Danielle Williams, who announced she would donate $2.50 to A Roof Above for every sandwich made, 19 attorneys and staff joined her and donated a combined $50 per sandwich. Altogether, “Operation Sandwich” volunteers made 127 sandwiches and raised for $6,350.
