Locanda Verde in Tribeca was the setting for Winston’s New York judicial clerk reception hosted by the firm’s litigators on January 29.
Several judicial clerks from the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and District of New Jersey stopped by to enjoy cocktails, conversation, and comestibles with Winston attorneys who attended this well-received event.
Our guests were greeted by Winston Co-Chairman Jeffrey Kessler, Hiring Committee Co-Chair Suzanne Jaffe Bloom, New York Office Litigation Practice head Seth Farber, New York Clerkship Committee head Jeff Amato, and several other litigation partners and associates, many of whom are former judicial clerks.
Winston’s Chicago office welcomed another group of clerks from the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Northern District of Illinois for a reception held on February 13.
Surrounded by city views from the 48th floor, attendees mingled with Chicago Office Managing Partner Linda Coberly, who chairs the firm’s Appellate & Critical Motions Practice; and several other members of our Litigation Department.
A substantial portion of Winston’s practice focuses on litigation, and our appellate and critical motions practice is nationally renowned. We actively seek out former and prospective judicial clerks to join our firm, and the experience and knowledge gained while on clerkships is highly valued by the firm and our clients.
