Winston Hosts University of Illinois Law Students for Professional Experience Day

For the second consecutive year, Winston & Strawn’s Chicago office hosted approximately 80 University of Illinois College of Law 1L and LL.M. students for the law school’s inaugural Professional Experience Day.

The October 18 visit began with a mix and mingle breakfast with Winston attorneys who are alums of the law school, followed by a presentation designed to orient the students to the legal profession. The presentation focused on several aspects of attorney life, including lawyer development, client service, and leadership.

Winston was the students’ first stop of the day, which continued with visits to the Cook County Circuit Court, other law firms, government agencies, and public interest organizations. Winston was thrilled to be part of this informative program for emerging law students.
