February 12, 2019
Our attorneys have enjoyed meeting more stellar students from top law schools across the country as we continue 1L recruiting for our 2019 summer class.
Winston representatives were on hand to greet several 1L students at Fordham University School of Law during an Employer Reception hosted by its Career Planning Center on January 17. Merav Watson (Fordham ’18) and Michelle Tuma (Fordham’18) represented Winston at the event, along with Elisa Santelia and Angela Eliane from the Attorney Recruiting & Development team.
The prior evening, Michelle Chan (Columbia ’13), Matt Doyle (Columbia ’17), George Mastoris (Columbia ’02), and Lilli Scalettar (Columbia ’10), along with Angela Eliane and Cara Goldstein from the Attorney Recruiting & Development team, attended Columbia Law School’s 1L Networking Night, where students learned more about Winston and the practice of law.
Another group of Winston’s Columbia Law alums were pleased to present a lunch panel to 1Ls on February 6 on “Tips to Be a Successful Summer Associate in BigLaw.” The students in attendance heard from Jeffrey Stern (Columbia ’90), Mikaela Evans-Aziz (Columbia ’14), Austin Leach (Columbia ’13), and Attorney Recruiting & Development Senior Manager Angela Eliane.
Please visit our Law Students Careers site for information about the summer 2019 positions Winston has available for 1L students.
