On September 11, Winston attorneys and staff helped transform the anniversary of the tragic 9/11 attacks into a global day of unity and doing good for others.
In Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., Winston partnered with 9/11 Day to help pack 10 million meals that will be distributed through Feeding America-affiliated food banks to local individuals and families in need.

Winston For Good volunteers from our San Francisco office worked the 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. shift and helped pack 90,000 meals in just two hours.
In Charlotte and Houston, Winston partnered with the Travis Manion Foundation and participated in its 9/11 Heroes Run to honor the heroes of 9/11 and the veterans who have served in the wars since that day.

9/11 Day was created in 2002 to rekindle the spirit of togetherness and compassion that arose in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. This day also pays tribute to those who died on 9/11 and to the courageous rescue and recovery workers and members of our military who responded to the tragedy.
This year, 9/11 Day also honored those who have died of COVID-19 as well as the healthcare personnel, first responders, and other frontline workers who continue to put their lives at risk during this pandemic.
Thank you to every Winston attorney and staff member who participated in 9/11 Day events this year!
