Women Lawyers from the Firm’s Paris and London Offices Convene for Day of Connecting and Learning

On November 15, Winston & Strawn’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) hosted its sixth annual European Region Seminar in Paris. The event brought together lawyers from Winston’s Paris and London office for a day filled with insightful presentations and engaging and empowering conversations.

Firmwide WLI Co-Chair Sophie Dechaumet, WLI Paris co-chairs Mathilde Lefranc-Barthe and Sara Susnjar, and WLI London chair Daniela Cohen kicked-off the day-long program, which featured a dynamic lineup of sessions including the following:

• Identifying and Mitigating Gender Bias – Presented by Sylvia James, Winston’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer.
• Optimizing Your Business Development Mindset and Habits – Presented by Diane Costigan, Winston’s Director of Coaching and Well-Being.
• Feedback is a Gift – Presented by Celine Millour, Leadership Consultant and Coach.
• Off-the-Record Candid Conversations – A panel discussion facilitated by Sylvia James with partners Ariane Berthoud, Edith Boucaya, Daniela Cohen, and Sophie Nguyen.

The day concluded with a cocktail reception and a private guided tour of the historic Hôtel de la Marine in the heart of Paris.

This annual seminar is a testament to the firm’s dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where women attorneys can thrive. By bringing together colleagues from our European offices, we continue to strengthen our community and pave the way for the next generation of leaders.
