Women’s Leadership Initiative in London Hosts Networking Drinks Reception

On November 2, Winston’s London office welcomed 20 executives from leading companies across the city for our first Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Networking Drinks event. 

Hosted by London WLI Partner Chair Rebecca Finn, the informal cocktail reception featured a short Q&A session on career progression and leadership with Shanika Amaraseka, General Counsel at British Business Bank, and Sara Hale, Co-Head of Corporate Broking at Investec. They shared their individual experiences, and attendees had the opportunity to discuss their successes as well as various challenges faced by women in business today.
