Summer Associates Attend Leadership Program at Altria

Winston was one of five law firms that participated in a diverse summer associate leadership experience hosted by client Altria’s Law Department. 

The day began with a welcome breakfast at Altria’s headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, followed by a tour of the Philip Morris Manufacturing Center, lunch with members of the Altria Law Department, and two panel discussions.

Chicago summer associates Christopher Parker and Amelia Garza-Mattia, New York summer associate Daphny Lazarus, and Washington, D.C. summer associate Halima Nguyen appreciated the opportunity to hear from Altria senior corporate leaders about what it takes to succeed in a law firm and become a valued outside counsel.
