Beam Suntory Inc.'s Sale of Windsor Canadian Whisky Brand

Winston & Strawn represented Beam Suntory Inc., a global leader in premium spirits based in Illinois, in its sale of the Windsor Canadian Whisky Brand to the Minnesota-based Prestige Beverage Group. Windsor is among the top-selling Canadian whiskies in the U.S. Under Prestige, Windsor will continue production by Alberta Distillers Limited, with availability across the U.S., Canada and beyond, and will join Prestige’s lineup of spirit brands, which includes INDOGGO Gin (launched with Snoop Dogg), Joia Spirit and The Whistler Irish Whiskey.
