Kainos Capital's Ferraro Fine Foods Sale to Kelso & Co.

Winston & Strawn LLP represented Ferraro Fine Foods Corp. in its sale to private equity firm Kelso & Co. from Kainos Capital, a food and consumer-focused private equity firm. Headquartered in Piscataway, New Jersey, Ferraro Foods is a specialty foodservice distributor delivering quality food and supplies, primarily to the Italian restaurant and pizzeria segment in the Eastern United States. Kainos partnered with Ferraro Foods in May 2018 after having developed a prior relationship with Ferraro’s owner, Michael Giammarino, through the team’s network of industry relationships.
