Miffin Associates Corp.'s Sale to Certain Affiliates of Millicom International Cellular, S.A.

Winston & Strawn LLP represented Miffin Associates Corp. in connection with its sale to certain affiliates of Millicom International Cellular, S.A. of a 45% equity interest in Tigo Guatemala, the wireless telecommunications business in Guatemala previously owned and operated as a joint venture between Miffin and Millicom. The purchase price was US$2.2B in cash. As a result of the transaction, Millicom now owns a 100 percent equity interest in Tigo Guatemala.
