NexPoint Diversified Real Estate Trust Completes Transition to a Diversified REIT

Winston & Strawn LLP represented NexPoint Diversified Real Estate Trust as real estate and investment trust (REIT) and corporate counsel in connection with the deregistration of NXDT under section 8(f) of the Investment Company Act of 1940. The SEC issued an order, effective July 1, 2022, enabling NXDT to complete the transition of its business to a diversified REIT. NexPoint’s common and preferred shares will continue to be traded on the NYSE under the ticker symbols "NXDT" and "NXDT-PA," respectively.
