Post Capital Partners' Sale of EC Waste, LLC

Winston & Strawn LLP represented Post Capital Partners in its sale of EC Waste, LLC, a leading provider of non-hazardous waste management and disposal services in Puerto Rico, to 3i Group plc, a London-based international investment company focusing on private equity and infrastructure. With locations throughout Puerto Rico (PR), EC Waste provides multiple waste services to over 100,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The company operates four U.S. EPA-compliant disposal sites, two transfer stations, runs PR’s largest solid-waste collections network and hosts what will be PR’s largest renewable natural gas collection project at its Humacao facility. The company has grown significantly and employs over 350 people on the island.
