Roadzen's Investment in Moonshot Insurance

Winston & Strawn LLP represented Roadzen, Inc., an Indo-American insurtech company, in connection with its investment in Moonshot Insurance, a French insurtech company and the leading digital and contextual insurance player in Europe. Moonshot was created by Société Générale Assurances (Sogecap), and had been supported by Roadzen (in the development of Moonshot’s insurance products and technology) for more than a year prior to the closing. With this closing, and the entry of Moonshot and Sogecap into agreements for ongoing joint product development, Roadzen finally became a full joint venture partner in the Moonshot enterprise.
