Virtual Disruptive Technologies Legal Summit 2020 – September 30, 2020
Winston & Strawn teamed up again with the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology to present the third annual Disruptive Technologies Legal Summit. Streaming live on September 30, the virtual Summit examined the evolving legal landscape of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and cryptocurrency, the Internet of Things (IoT), smart devices, and other emerging and disruptive technologies.
The Summit brought together leading lawyers, academics, regulators, and business leaders for panels in three main tracks of focus—International, AI, and Legal—along with general sessions that explored the current economic and business environment for technology, the intersection between the growth and evolution of disruptive technologies, and observations from the Securities and Exchange Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Commodity Futures Trading Commission regulators on technology trends and cryptocurrency developments.
