Equip for Equality Honors Winston as a 2021 Outstanding Pro Bono Partner During 35th Anniversary Celebration

In recognition of Winston & Strawn’s “outstanding commitment to disability justice,” Equip for Equality (EFE) named the firm as a 2021 Outstanding Pro Bono Partner during the organization’s 35^th Anniversary Celebration. Winston is among EFE’s top five contributors of pro bono hours over the last five years.

During that time, our attorneys have been involved with multiple successful initiatives on EFE’s behalf, including a class action litigation in support of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in IL prisons and the Voting Access to Chicago project. Winston’s team also offers ongoing legal help to families who are trying to navigate special education services.
