Managing Partner of External Affairs Eva Davis, a member of the exclusive DirectWomen organization, attended “Unlocking the Secrets of International Board Opportunities,” held at the U.S. Embassy in London, where very seasoned women directors provided their insights on breaking into the corporate board room and crisis management for board members/directors. Key takeaways from the crisis management panel were shared by Eva and can be found here.
Eva was selected as one of 16 exclusive members of the 2024 DirectWomen Board Institute Class. The 16 women lawyers were selected for their contribution to the profession, recognized as being at the top of their professional careers, and underwent a rigorous search and selection process. These women hail from preeminent public and private companies, law firms, and non-profit organizations.
The mission of DirectWomen is to increase the representation of women lawyers on corporate boards. DirectWomen identifies leading women lawyers from around the country who can provide the experience, independence, and business judgment required for board effectiveness. Through its various programs, DirectWomen develops and positions women attorney leaders for board service. It also serves as a resource for companies seeking qualified women board candidates.
“I am honored to be selected as part of this exceptional class of board-ready women leaders and look forward to working with my cohort to further DirectWomen’s mission of placing more women on corporate boards,” said Eva.
