Featured in the Daily Journal: Winston Announces Expansion in Los Angeles

The Daily Journal featured Winston & Strawn’s Los Angeles expansion. Fifteen lawyers from Scheper Kim & Harris, featuring a bench of former federal prosecutors and specialists in white collar matters, as well as three new partners who specialize in real estate finance, restructurings and workouts have joined the Los Angeles office.

Partner David Scheper tells the Daily Journal that the COVID-19 pandemic influenced his decision to move his practice to Winston, and noted that it will give his team a more national footprint and the opportunity to expand into other practice areas.

Partner Paul Walker noted that he anticipates a “sustained need for legal guidance and clarity” on restructurings and complex workouts in commercial real estate.
