Former U.S. Attorney Damien Diggs Joins Winston & Strawn in Dallas

Winston & Strawn recently announced that former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas Damien Diggs has joined the firm’s Litigation Department as a partner in the Government Investigations, Enforcement, and Compliance Practice. With 18 years of experience in the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and Texas, Damien brings a wealth of experience and an impressive record in all stages of criminal, civil, and appellate matters.

“Damien understands the inner workings of the Department of Justice and the country’s criminal justice system,” said Litigation Department Co-Chairs Tom Melsheimer and Linda Coberly in the press release announcing his arrival. “His unique experience as both a U.S. Attorney and former Assistant U.S. Attorney will be an important resource for our corporate and business clients, especially in the areas of regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and government investigations.”
