George Lombardi Honored as Litigator of the Week

Winston & Strawn Partner and Co-Chair of the Litigation Department George Lombardi was featured as Litigator of the Week by The Am Law Litigation Daily in the June 24, 2022 column.
This recognition stems from George and his team securing a complete defense verdict for client Monsanto following a month-long jury trial in Oregon Circuit Court in Jackson County. The team only needed to persuade nine jurors, but convinced all 12 to reject claims brought on behalf of Larry Johnson, an Oregon man who had used RoundUp around his residence since the 1970s. The win marked the fourth straight defense win for the company in Roundup cases.
