George Lombardi Named Among 2023 Law360 Life Sciences MVPs

Winston & Strawn Litigation Department Co-Chair George Lombardi was named among Law360’s 2023 Life Sciences MVPs. This accolade recognizes attorneys who “have distinguished themselves from their peers by securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters, and record-breaking deals.” Over 900 nominees were considered for this year’s series.
George was recognized for, among other accomplishments, his work securing an important partial trial win for MSN that would help accelerate a generic cancer drug’s path to market, serving as lead trial counsel for Monsanto in the first Roundup® product liability jury trial in the United States, and bookending a trial that severely lessened the blow of a surgical stapler patent infringement case on behalf of Intuitive Surgical.
