Gordon Dobie, Chair of the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association, Attends 2023 Annual Conference in Tokyo

As Chairman of the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association (MWJA), Winston & Strawn litigation partner Gordon Dobie attended the 53rd Annual Joint Meeting of the MWJA and the Japan-Midwest U.S. Association held in Tokyo on September 10-12, 2023. The annual conference brings together Japanese and American political and business leaders to discuss the growth and progress of economic relations between the American Midwest and Japan.

This year’s conference focused on shaping a sustainable future together and was attended by U.S. Ambassador Rahm Emanuel, the governors of Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, and Nebraska, and the lieutenant governors of Illinois and Minnesota as well as governors, ambassadors, and business leaders from Japan.
