Gordon Dobie Serves as Chairman of 2024 Midwest U.S.-Japan Association Conference

Winston & Strawn litigation partner Gordon Dobie served as Chairman of the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association’s (MWJA) 54th Annual Joint Meeting in Columbus, Ohio, on September 8-10, 2024. As elected Chairman of the U.S. Midwest-Japan Association, Gordon works with the ten Midwest states and Japanese governmental and industry leaders to further the investment between Japan and the Midwest – now including 1,600 Japanese businesses employing 150,000 Americans. 

This year’s conference in Columbus brought together ambassadors, governors, and business and political leaders from Japan and the ten Midwest states to further grow and progress their strong economic relationships. Attendees exchanged knowledge and achievements, built partnerships, and connected with new communities.
