Ivan Poullaos Speaks on ANDA Litigation Strategies at 9th International IP Skills Summit

Winston & Strawn partner Ivan Poullaos was a featured speaker at the 9th International IP Skills Summit (IIPSS) in Hyderabad, India. Winston sponsored the invite-only summit, which focused on Paragraph IV and biosimilar patent litigation and was attended by over 300 participants from around the world, including pharmaceutical IP attorneys and in-house counsel.

The summit, held in the “pharma capital” of India, offered a unique opportunity for attendees to discuss complex issues faced by drug manufacturers related to intellectual property strategies in the U.S.  The agenda included topics such as the evolution of the Hatch-Waxman Act, patent cliffs, the FDA's findings on generic competition, and AI in Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigation.

Ivan spoke on “ANDA Litigation Strategies for Generic Drug Companies,” specifically focusing on strategies surrounding allegations of induced infringement.
