Winston & Strawn recently announced that Joshua (Josh) Hafenbrack has joined the Washington, D.C. office as a partner in the Litigation Department with a focus in antitrust matters.
Josh represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation and antitrust matters. A recent senior litigation counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, Josh brings significant experience litigating antitrust cases and representing clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology, media, and telecommunications. At the DOJ, Josh was a member of the trial team in a high-profile search monopolization case. He also helped lead merger and monopolization investigations in a variety of other industries.
“We are delighted to welcome Josh to Winston,” said Washington, D.C. Office Managing Partner David Rogers in the press release announcing his arrival. “As a first-chair antitrust litigator, Josh’s track record in both private practice and government service makes him exceptionally well-suited to serve our clients. The addition of Josh further strengthens our national antitrust practice and supports the firm’s continued growth in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.”
“My clients will have the benefit of experienced lawyers who know how to take matters to trial and also know how to use their courtroom prowess to avoid going to court when it's in the client's interests,” Josh told Law360.
