Jovial Wong Presents During 2021 Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA Passport to Proficiency Series

Partner Jovial Wong presented during The American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 2021 Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA Passport to Proficiency series. The virtual three-week program is designed to provide new lawyers and executives within the life sciences industry with a solid foundation for understanding the essentials and intricacies of Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA litigation and regulation.

Jovial presented during week two of the program, which covered the Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA Framework. During that time, he provided an overview of BPCIA and aBLA.

Among the more critical updates discussed was the recent FDA guidance on biosimilar development and the BPCIA, providing applicants and sponsors with answers to many outstanding questions regarding the development of proposed biosimilar and interchangeable products, as well as exclusivity issues.
