Winston & Strawn Silicon Valley Managing Partner Kelly Hunsaker was named as one of the most influential women in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in its 2023 Women of Influence list. This annual award highlights the area’s most prominent women who have made notable contributions in their careers and in their communities.
Kelly’s professional achievements, extensive community involvement, exemplary leadership inside and outside of Winston, and her commitment to elevating other women in law and technology were all factors considered during the evaluation process.
In a Q&A for the publication's 2023 Women of Influence special awards edition, Kelly discussed a range of topics including her thoughts on the biggest challenges facing women aspiring to take leadership roles, female CEOs she admires, and the role of mentorship in professional growth. When asked about the best professional adviced she's recieved, Kelly said, "Ask for what you want, for what you've earned, and for what you deserve. Ask even when it feels unnatural or out of your comfort zone. To advance, you have to advocate for yourself."
