Nicholas Rodriguez Honored During the 2025 Florida Legal Awards

Winston partner Nicholas Rodriguez was selected by the Daily Business Review as a Dealmaker of the Year award finalist during the 2025 Florida Legal Awards. This honor highlights Florida attorneys who have led major, industry-shaping transactions during the previous year.

In addition to successfully leading the transformative $1.2 billion acquisition of Almacenes Éxito by Grupo Calleja, Nick served as lead counsel for two major transactions in 2024 involving Millicom International Cellular S.A., one of which was valued at approximately $1 billion. These high-profile deals, executed seamlessly in collaboration with Millicom’s Miami offices, underscore Nick’s mastery in handling complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

Award winners will be announced during a ceremony on April 3, 2025, at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami.
