Scott Cohen Presents International eDiscovery Webinar

Winston & Strawn director of eDiscovery support services Scott Cohen presented a webcast titled “International eDiscovery: Data Protection, Privacy & Cross-Border Issues” on June 24, 2014. The webcast was hosted by InsideCounsel and included several panelists, of which Mr. Cohen was the only non-lawyer. The discussion focused on the practical aspects of international eDiscovery.

Specific topics covered in the webcast include:

• How to anticipate jurisdictional restrictions
• New ways to lower the time and expenses involved
• The advantages of timely communication with the court or regulator
• Alternative approaches, including how to avoid the "undue burden" charge
