Scott Cohen Speaks at CEIC 2014

Winston & Strawn director of eDiscovery support services Scott Cohen presented at the Computer Enterprise Investigations Conference held May 19-22, 2014, in Las Vegas. Mr. Cohen spoke on the topic “International eDiscovery: Data Protection, Privacy & Cross-Border Issues” on May 20.

As part of the panel, Mr. Cohen discussed the importance of anticipating international jurisdictional restrictions related to eDiscovery and the time and expense which they involve, as well as the advantages of timely communication with the designated court or regulator. Based in Winston & Strawn’s New York office, Mr. Cohen is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s litigation support technology, electronic discovery operations, and document review center management. Throughout his career, Mr. Cohen has worked in a consultative capacity with law firms and corporate legal departments enabling them to effectively leverage technology in all legal practice areas.
